Vibuza's comments and Real Stories work because people feel safe being honest. These guidelines exist to protect that.
Not allowed
Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse of any kind.
Hate speech or content that degrades people based on identity.
Doxxing or sharing anyone's private information without consent.
Spam, scams, or impersonating another person or organization.
Sharing identifying details about someone in a Real Story without their consent — even your own story may be edited to remove details that could identify someone else.
Encouraged
Respectful disagreement. You can challenge an idea without attacking the person.
Honesty, including about mistakes or things that are hard to admit.
Context — a thoughtful comment is more useful than a reactive one.
Reporting
Use the report option on any comment that violates these guidelines. Our moderation team reviews reports and may hide or remove content, or restrict accounts that repeatedly violate these rules.
